Delivery Schedule

Deliveries are made Tuesday to Friday inclusive. Orders placed by 12:00 will be delivered the following day within 24 hours of leaving the shop. This is except for orders placed on Friday, Saturday or Sunday when the delivery shall be made on Tuesday. This does not apply to orders for pick up in the shop - see Shop Hours of Opening for detail.

The shops in Pwllheli and Porthmadog are open from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Saturday. for orders placed on this web site for shop pick up.

Credit Card Processing provided by HSBC

This web site uses HSBC for credit card processing. No customers credit card information is held on this web site, instead your information is passed securely between you and HSBC for authorisation. Authorisation confirmation is passed back to this web site from HSBC which allows the order to be completed successfully.

Personal Details

All personal information you provide in order to process your order is used only by Bwydlyn for the sole purpose of keeping you informed of the progress of your order, ensuring the order is delivered to the correct address and, where you have agreed, to advise you of any future special offers or promotions from Bwydlyn.

Packaging (as prescribed by the Environmental Health Officer for North Wales)

All meat is vacuum packed except for meat on the bone, sausages and beefburgers which are tray wrapped. The meat is then placed in polystyrene boxes and surrounded by frozen gel packs. The gel packs keep the meat fresh at a temperature of between 0°C and 5°C for a minimum of 24 hours. Each box is then secured with Bwydlyn anti tamper tape. If this tape is not intact when you receive your order then ring Bwydlyn immediately on 01766 512288.

Shipping

Bwydlyn uses a specialist courier who delivers across the whole of the mainland UK. Deliveries should ideally be signed for by the customer or instructions left for alternative arrangement e.g. leave with neighbour or in shed. If no instructions are left and there is no one to take delivery of the order the delivery will be returned to the nearest depot and a "failure to deliver" note will be posted.

Quality of Produce

All beef and lamb is certified as being Welsh Farm Assured. This means the animals have been reared in Wales and slaughtered in compliance with Meat Services Hygiene standards.

All pork is British and meets with Meat Hygiene Services standards with regard to its slaughter.
